The Clarity Salt Story
Clarity Salt was formed in 2022 when several of the largest distributors in the nation joined together to create a wholesaler with ties to every major salt manufacturer in the country. These family-owned businesses have been vital in the salt industry for over 90 years, helping customers, big and small, get the best pricing available. By combining the distribution networks and vendor relationships of each distributor – Davis Wholesale Supply, The Harvey Salt Company, Sweney-Kern Salt, Robinson Salt Supply, Public Salt Company, and Salt Services – Clarity Salt has created a stronger supply system with a goal to provide the best personalized customer service and lowest prices in the salt industry.

WQA
WQA is a resource and information source, a voice for the industry, an educator of professionals, and a laboratory for product testing. Through the industry’s research arm, the Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF), significant resources are being dedicated to independently conduct studies that show the benefits of treated water.
Indiana Water Quality Association
IWQA
The Indiana Water Quality Association (IWQA) is the state’s trade association representing Indiana’s water treatment professionals. IWQA members manufacture, sell, and service treatment equipment for the residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
Ohio Water Quality Association
OWQA
The Ohio Water Quality Association is the premier state trade association representing Ohio’s water quality professionals. We provide accurate and reliable information from government agencies, consumer protection groups, and other associations regarding issues affecting Ohio water quality.
Michigan Water Quality Association
MWQA
The Michigan Water Quality Association provides information to and takes calls from consumers to provide practical solutions to their water problems. The MWQA also funds research that promotes water purity and supports continued education and ethical behavior for its members.

Featured Charity
Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child
Each holiday season, employees volunteer their time and donate items to fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. These gifts are packed up and sent to children all around the world, in more than 100 countries, providing them with toys, school supplies, clothes, and hygiene products. The employees enjoy collecting items throughout the year and spending an afternoon together in early November to work on this project that brings joy to so many children in need.
